Singing in the Rain Without Caffeine
Story
Hi all,
From today for a whole month, I'm Upping My Game for a cause that's close to my heart. I'm giving up coffee and walking to and from work - that's Town Hall Station to Pyrmont - rain, hail or shine, and no cheating by taking the Light Rail from Central Station to Fish Market!
I'm doing this as part of the Up Your Game campaign that youth mental health service, ReachOut Australia is running to raise as much awareness and funds to bring down the numbers of youth suicide in Australia.
Suicide is the leading cause of death for young Australians under 25. In the past year it claimed the lives of 362 young people.
We know that 1 in 3 young people don't get the help they need. Without help, they're at greater risk of suicide. I grew up in country Australia, where suicide rates are even higher.
Please support my challenge by making a donation and by posting a message of support. It will go a long way and keep me going!
Thanks so much in advance for your support!
love Kim

ReachOut Australia
ReachOut is the most accessed online mental health service for young people and their parents in Australia. Our trusted self-help information, peer-support program and referral tools save lives by helping young people be well and stay well. The information we offer parents makes it easier for them to help their teenagers, too.
We’ve been championing wider access to mental health support since we launched our online service more than 20 years ago. Everything we create is based on the latest evidence and is designed with experts, and young people or their parents. This is why our service is trusted, relevant and so easy to use.
Accessed by more than 2 million people in Australia each year, ReachOut is a free service that’s available anytime and pretty much anywhere.
